Biography
Eric Chu is best known as a concept designer who has worked on SyFy's Battlestar Galactica and has earned the label "The Cylon God" for redesigning many of the iconic elements for the show including the Battlestar Galactica, the Cylon Centurions, Cylon Raiders and Cylon Basestars.

He has worked on movies, TV, and commercials in various capacities, mainly from his Vancouver studio (Paranoid Delusions Inc.) or in Asia. His work encompasses designs, storyboards, animation and sculpture.
Eric started in the business back in 1983 by making his big break at the Canadian animation company, Nelvana, where his first job was drawing layouts for the Star Wars animated series, Droids. In the ensuing years, he has worked on many animated projects, but few he is willing to admit to. However, his years in animation proved to be a great training ground for his future work in film.
Since Battlestar Galactica, Eric has continued to work unofficially on keeping the show alive. This includes collaborating with Dr. Kevin Grazier (science advisor for Battlestar Galactica) on various as-yet unrealized projects, and getting involved with a fan-based web series, 13, which attempts to tell the story of the events leading up to the original Battlestar Galactica storyline. Eric has made several appearances at conventions, detailing his experiences on the show and how the designs were ultimately realized.
Currently, Eric is developing a property for an upcoming feature film, for which he will produce and direct. Although sworn to secrecy, he can reveal that the project will make use of every tool in his arsenal and to say anymore would require some form of cerebral extraction.
